Terms And Conditions

The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Grays Airport Service. Booking a taxi and utilizing the service signifies your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions as detailed in this agreement.

1. Definitions

Grays Airport Service, referred to as "we" or "us," denotes the company providing the service. The terms "you" and "your" may refer to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

2. Booking

2.1 Allocate sufficient time for the journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers requiring check-in at a specific flight time. Grays Airport Service is not responsible for delays caused by your failure to allocate enough time or if you are not ready to be collected at the designated time.

2.2 It is your responsibility to order a car of suitable size for all travelers and luggage. Grays Airport Service does not guarantee the transportation of an excessive amount of luggage. Please note that a child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.

2.3 Individuals requiring wheelchair access should request this at the point of booking.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Grays Airport Service provides a quotation based on information provided by you. All prices, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of VAT, and if applicable, this charge will be added. In the case of material changes to the stated itinerary, we reserve the right to alter the provided quote.

3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the stated landing time and the cost of parking at the airport. Any waiting period beyond this time will be charged at the standard Grays Airport Service waiting rate. While we strive to accommodate delays, we are not obliged to do so.

3.3 Upon accepting a quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. Please review this confirmation thoroughly. If you don’t notify Grays Airport Service, we shall not be responsible for any delays or costs arising due to this oversight.

3.4 Payment for journeys can be made via cash, credit card, or debit card.

4. The Service

4.1 You are responsible for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. A charge may be applied to cover cleaning costs if the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively impacted by a passenger.

4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the car is not permitted.

4.3 Children in the car should be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We are not allowed to carry more passengers than stated by licensing or insurance.

5. Cancellations

5.1 If you need to cancel your booking with Grays Airport Service, contact us as soon as possible. If a vehicle is not canceled until after dispatch, a charge will be incurred based on the time and distance covered by the driver to the point of cancellation.

5.2 If you cancel through our online booking system before the vehicle is dispatched, a charge may be levied on the original payment.

6. Liability

6.1 While Grays Airport Service will do its best to ensure timely arrival at your destination, we are not liable for losses due to delays beyond our control. There are no circumstances where Grays Airport Service will be liable for losses incurred by you or your business.

6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.

6.3 If the vehicle breaks down during your journey, we will provide an alternative car to allow you to complete your journey as quickly as possible.

6.4 You will not indemnify Grays Airport Service for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses arising from any omission or act by anyone in your party.

6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any other matter deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is placed at risk, whether through abuse, violence, or damage from you or any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Grays Airport Service may subcontract obligations as stated in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any obligations or rights under this agreement.

8.2 Grays Airport Service may alter terms and conditions at any time, reflecting changes on this page. Review these terms regularly to stay informed. Existing bookings will adhere to rates in effect at the time of booking.

8.3 Information processing complies with the guidelines of the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement represents the full understanding between Grays Airport Service and yourself.

8.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to confer any advantage or benefit to a third party. No third party maintains the right to enforce rights under this agreement unless agreed upon in writing.

9. Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Grays Airport Service is not obligated to entertain claims and/or disputes made after this timeframe.
